Samanda met on the Facebook Dating app. These are some of their actual profile pics. Amanda messaged Sam first. After chatting off and on all day, they met each other that night at Kickbutt Coffee. The vibe was good, and they showed up wearing matching Vans - so Amanda agreed to meet him at a NOFX concert that weekend.

Over the next month, they find time for dates and long text convos despite their busy schedules. Sam gives Amanda a silver crescent moon necklace and asks her to be his girlfriend. Of course she says yes. By the end of June, they've met each other's families.

Sam secretly recruits Amanda's besties to throw her a surprise birthday party complete with a vision boarding activity. This is special because Amanda usually makes a vision board every Jan 1 but she was too tired and overwhelmed to make it happen. At this party, Amanda creates a vision board that includes lots of travel, scuba diving, a wedding ring, and two little babies. Sam cuts out the names Anthony and Harper to put on the vision board.

One year anniversary date at Upstairs Circus where you can make arts and crafts. Amanda makes coasters with their Til Death theme and Sam makes a collar for Winnie. Sam already has the engagement ring but is waiting for just the right moment to propose...

Samanda goes to Australia! They decided to start trying for a baby and Amanda wanted to do an epic scuba diving trip before life and priorities get completely rearranged.

Sam proposes in Australia at the end of a joke photo shoot. After tons of giggling and improvising awkward poses, Sam says "one more pose" and gets down on one knee. So smooth.

We're pregnant! After approximately six months of trying, Samanda decide to move forward with IVF to implant their frozen embryo... BUT, the weekend before Amanda's Monday appointment to start the process, she takes a pregnancy test and It's Positive!

Sam REALLY wants to make it official before the baby comes into the world so for their two year anniversary date, Sam and Amanda head to the courthouse. They decide to set the big wedding date for October of 2026 so that Baby Maspero can be a little one-year-old toddler in a tuxedo for the wedding festivities.

It's a boy! Anthony Jason Maspero is born on his due date at 5:55pm. He weighs 7lbs 11oz and is 19.5 inches long. Sam and Amanda are completely in love with him.
